PRESS: Russian minister opposes raising Wealth Fund spending limit

MOSCOW, Nov 19 (PRIME) -- Russia’s Finance Minister Anton Siluanov strongly opposes proposals to raise the limit on spending the National Wealth Fund, designed to secure the pension system, to 80% from 60%, he told Vedomosti business daily on Wednesday.

“I am strongly opposed to this,” he said. “This is, in fact, a waste of resource, and if we waste all our resources we will be left without protection.”
